The Art of Living - Issue #19

This morning Facebook reminded me of a revelation that I shared 5 years ago:

In this day and age social media often serves as a highlight reel where success (buying a new house, taking a once in a lifetime vacation, etc.) is broadcast publicly and struggles are intentionally suppressed.

For the past 5 years this insight has helped me to realize that when it comes to social media I’m only seeing what others want me to see, and its probably only a part of their lives. The grass is not always greener on the other side.
