Don't take your health for granted.

The Art of Living - Issue #19

Your health is your wealth. This isn't just a cliché – it's a fundamental truth that many of us only realize when it's too late.

I recently had a conversation with a friend who had been diagnosed with a chronic illness. Despite being successful in business and having accumulated significant financial wealth, he told me that none of it mattered anymore. His perspective on life had completely shifted.

We often take our health for granted when we're young and feeling invincible. We sacrifice sleep for work, skip meals for meetings, and neglect exercise for productivity. But health is not just the absence of disease – it's a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being.

Here are three simple ways to prioritize your health:

    1. Move your body daily – Even a 20-minute walk can make a difference 2. Fuel yourself properly – What you eat directly impacts how you feel and perform 3. Prioritize sleep – Recovery is when your body does its most important work

Remember: you can't enjoy the fruits of your labor if you don't have your health to enjoy them with.
