If you don't know where you're going, you'll end up someplace else..png

Today marks the 183rd day of 2019. If you break the calendar year down into quarters, as they do in a basketball game, you would be emerging from half time and making your way back onto the court. If you’re like me and you’ve taken the time to review your progress and devise goals for the back half of the year you’re probably feeling pretty good about your prospects.

My reflection framework

When it comes to quarterly reflection I like to keep it simple. The following 3 questions help guide me through the process:

  1. What did I accomplish this past quarter?

  2. What will I accomplish next quarter?

  3. How can I improve?

When applicable I have also found value in asking family, friends, and/or coworkers for feedback.

Ultimately, this cadence for review has enabled me to lose more than 70 lbs, maintain close and rewarding relationships with people who are important to me, and discover meaningful work through my business, angel investing and philanthropy.

How will you show up for the 2nd half of 2019?

Wealth — in whatever form — is seldom the result of luck or coincidence.
